Dembele and Aouar told to 'get out' of Lyon by furious fans
Moussa Dembele and Houssem Aouar are two of the Lyon stars who have been told to “get out” the club by furious supporters.
Both players are into the final six months of their contracts and are not pulling their weight, according to fans, who protested following the weekend’s shock loss at home to Strasbourg, who had previously won only one Ligue 1 match all season.
OL supporters directed their anger during and after the match towards both the players and the board.

A giant banner was held up by the club’s ultras depicting a goat, while smaller images of Dembele, Aouar and Cameroon international forward Karl Toko-Ekambi were showing with “get out” written beneath each.
Meanwhile, there was also a message for American investor John Textor, with fans holding up banners that read: “John, the house is burning, fire the incompetents.”

Dembele and Aouar's Premier League links
Dembele and Aouar are big-ticket players for Lyon, with the pair having been linked with some big moves in the past.
Centre-forward Dembele has often been linked with a move to Manchester United in the recent past but has shown little of that form this season. Latest reports suggest that Everton a priming a move for the former Celtic man, and given he would be a relatively low-cost option, the Toffees taking a risk on him would be worthwhile.
Aouar, meanwhile, is once capped by France and is a central midfielder who has often been associated with Arsenal, but like Dembele has shown little of his best form this term.
Indeed, this news is likely to increase interest in both players during the January transfer window, and with Lyon now out of the race for Europe in Ligue 1, it would make sense for the club to sell at a knockdown rate.
