Fresh concerns over Messi’s PSG contract renewal
Paris Saint-Germain are now unsure whether they want to renew Lionel Messi's contract or not.
The superstar’s deal is up in the summer and talks have been ongoing for some time.
But still nothing seems close and now fresh reports suggest that PSG are unsure whether or not they want to sign him up again for next season.
Indeed, a report via French outlet L’Equipe has recently revealed that PSG are no longer sure they want to extend the stay of the 2022 World Cup winner.

PSG are enduring something of a mini-crisis with supporters enraged about the players' lack of effort on the pitch, while Sunday’s loss 2-0 to Stade Rennes compounded that.
During the Ligue 1 contest, home fans even booed the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, who has failed to sign a contract extension at the club so far.
Goals from Karl Toko Ekambi and Arnaud Kalimuendo increased the misery of Christopher Galtier’s side. Audible jeers were heard at the Parc des Princes, with Messi and Kylian Mbappe not able to find a goal to change the course of the game.
Robert asks for Messi returrn
Sergi Roberto, who scored in his side’s El Clasico win over Real Madrid on Sunday, has implored Messi to come back to the Nou Camp. The defender told Jijantes, as reported by Fabrizio Romano: "I hope Messi comes back. We are waiting for him.
"He does not deserve the treatment he receives in Paris. We are waiting for Leo, we want him at Barca."
Messi left Barca in the summer of 2021 after the side’s financial plight meant they were not able to offer him a fresh deal. Amid the speculation around his future, he has also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia and the MLS.
