Neymar drops hint on PSG future with social media post
Neymar has dropped a big hint regarding his future on social media.
The Brazilian has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months. He had protests from the Paris Saint-Germain faithful aimed at him during the past season and the club are said to be open to offloading their record signing.
With the departure of Lionel Messi and facing the potential exit of Kylian Mbappe - who has been embroiled in a fierce war of words with his employers - the French giants are keen to rejig their attack as part of a comprehensive image overhaul.

"Less flash, more discipline" is PSG's supposed new motto according to French media and this is firmly in line with Nasser Al-Khelaifi's new policy of authoritatively enforcing the idea that nobody is bigger than the club. "No one is bigger than the club, no player, not even me. It's very clear," the 49-year-old said in response to the Kylian Mbappe drama.
Now, Neymar has hinted that he may not be part of PSG's summer clearout after all.
Staying in France
On Threads, Mark Zuckerberg's new Twitter competitor, Neymar posted a picture of a plane with the caption "going to France season 23/24." This has been interpreted as proof that he will remain with the Parisians for another season.
This should be unsurprising. Few clubs in world football could match the wages PSG are offering the injury-prone Brazilian, so it will be nigh on impossible for the club to get the 31-year-old off their books.
EXCLUSIVE: Newcastle star Allan Saint-Maximin eyed by Saudi Arabia
Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle were once touted as potential destinations, but nothing ultimately came of those rumours. Neymar is also not expected to become part of Saudi Arabia's spending spree due to the tension between PSG-owning Qatar and Mohammed bin Salman's country. The Brazilian still has a contract until 2025.
