French media outlet L’Equipe have reported that the 31-year-old has reached an agreement to move to Saudi Arabia and link up with the likes of Ruben Neves, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Kalidou Koulibaly at Al-Hilal.

The Brazilian forward has been heavily linked with a PSG exit this summer, despite the arrival of Luis Enrique at the Parc des Princes.

Enrique managed Neymar at Barcelona, with the former Santos man enjoying a productive time at Camp Nou alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez - the trio were, of course, famously dubbed MSN.

However, Neymar looks set to now leave PSG, six years after his world record €222 million move to the French capital.

Barcelona have been heavily linked as a possible summer destination for Neymar, with the chance of returning to Camp Nou touted across various outlets.

However, FootballTransfers understands that Xavi was not convinced by the idea of Neymar rejoining the club and was uncertain whether or not he would be a good fit with the current crop of Blaugrana stars.

After the prospect of joining the Saudi Pro League was floated, Neymar was said to be open to the idea. The transfer has now advanced and he has now agreed to join Al-Hilal, as per L’Equipe. He is set to earn a total of €160m over the course of a two-year deal.

PSG’s summer business

Lionel Messi has already left PSG this summer - joining Inter Miami on a free transfer - but Kylian Mbappe could be set to stay after a stunning new revelation.

Positive talks were had prior to PSG’s Ligue 1 opener against Lorient on Saturday (12 August), and multiple sources have reported that Mbappe is now moving towards renewing his contract at the Parc des Princes, which was due to expire next year.

Last summer, Mbappe was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid before extending his deal at PSG and the same thing could be set to happen in 2023 too.
