Lyon have endured a catastrophic start to the season and are bottom of France’s top flight through four matches, having picked up just a single point in that time.

Supporters are furious with the standard of their side’s performance, and on Sunday that reached a head as they found themselves 4-0 down at half-time against a rampant PSG led by the impressive Kylian Mbappe.

Although OL got one back in the second half, after the match the capo of the ultras group Bad Gones addressed players in a remarkable moment that went viral.

Lyon players slammed by ultras

“If there are leaders in the locker room, they no longer have the right to remain silent,” a banner displayed by fans during the match read.

Afterwards, though, Lyon’s players were berated by their own supporters, during which time they stood looking glum.

“You no longer have the right to be silent,” he said. “Hey! No need to hide if you want to talk behind your fingers... We can talk later, but for the moment you listen to us!

“You are the ones who wear the OL jersey. Others before you have worn it and have glorified it... You have no right to sully it.

“We expect you to respect our jersey, to give everything on the pitch… And if we have to lose, it’s with our heads held high.”

Once the television cameras cut away from the action, though, the capo of the ultras continued his diatribe.

He targeted three players, calling them out as “little b*tches”. Although it was unclear who he was referring to, it has been inferred that he was referring to sold academy products Bradley Barcola, Castello Lukeba and Gusto, who went to Chelsea in January but was loaned back to Lyon until the summer.

Gutso has played five matches for Chelsea, with the 20-year-old providing two assists.
