Luis Enrique ‘NOT HAPPY’ with Mbappe despite PSG hat-trick
PSG striker Kylian Mbappe might have scored a hat-trick for his side in a 3-0 win over Reims on Saturday, but head coach Luis Enrique said that he was “not really happy” with what he saw from the 24-year-old striker during the game.
Although the scoresheet suggested a one-sided match, in reality, PSG were pushed by Will Still’s in-form home side and had Mbappe and Gianluigi Donnarumma, who had a strong game in goal, to thank for a comfortable success in Champagne.
Mbappe netted the opener before the break before adding more goals in the second half, yet that did not excuse him from criticism from the former Barcelona head coach.

Speaking to Amazon Prime after the match, Luis Enrique was asked if the former Monaco man is the best player in the world.
He replied: “I'm not really happy with Kylian today. There is nothing to say about the goals but he could be better. I'll look first and tell you more. Kylian is one of the best players in the world, no doubt, but we need more. We want him to do even more things.”

Mbappe’s future in question
Mbappe’s midweek performance against Milan was also widely criticised in the French media, yet his response at the weekend was impressive.
How the France star, who finished third in the Ballon d'Or, reacts to this spur, though, remains to be seen.
His future continues to hang in the balance, with his contract up at the end of the season, at which point he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid as a free agent.
With Los Blancos eyeing other targets, both in attack and in different areas of their side, though, there remains doubt over where the superstar’s future lies.
At PSG, meanwhile, he has scored 12 goals in 14 appearances after a disrupted summer in which his contract wrangle saw him frozen out of the team. Nevertheless, he remains the star man at Parc des Princes.
