Kylian Mbappe will give PSG a large slice of his signing on bonus when he joins Real Madrid in what is being billed as a “covert transfer fee”.

Mbappe has told PSG that he will not renew his contract with the club, meaning that he will be a free agent when his contract expires in the summer.

Although no deal with Real Madrid has been announced, talks with the Bernabeu club are well advanced and it is fully expected that Mbappe will complete his long-awaited move to Spain in the summer.

The situation at PSG is tense, meanwhile. The 25-year-old was withdrawn from Friday’s 0-0 draw with Monaco at half-time, and while he watched the remainder of the game, he did so in the stands with his mother and agent, Fayza Lamari.

PSG to profit from Mbappe

Regardless of the bubbling issues between Mbappe and his coach, his departure from PSG is set to be relatively amicable, with the France international star set to give up millions to make his move to Real Madrid.

According to AS, Mbappe “will give up a percentage of the transfer bonus he receives if his signing for Real Madrid is confirmed. The figure could range between €100-150m, a kind of covert transfer fee that would leave the Ligue 1 club in a good position after not receiving any official amount for the striker”.

Presently, there are negotiations over just how much the Parc des Princes side will receive.

The difficulties between Mbappe and Luis Enrique currently – the pair as said not to be able to stand each other – will not be an impediment to PSG receiving this sum, the Spanish source goes on to explain.

The Ligue 1 side, meanwhile, will not announce that Mbappe’s time at PSG is over until the side are out of the Champions League.

The France star is set to lead the line for his side against Real Sociedad in Spain on Tuesday in what will be a taster of what Real Madrid fans can expect of their next Galactico signing.
