The Nigeria international has spent the past two years at Atalanta and he memorably scored a hat-trick during their Europa League final victory over Bayer Leverkusen in May.

However, he could leave the club this summer following interest from PSG.

Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna has reported that PSG have accelerated discussions with Lookman’s representatives as they eye a surprise move.

The 26-year-old reportedly wants to join Enrique’s side before the summer transfer window ends, although the Parisians are yet to submit a formal offer.

Lookman has scored 32 goals and provided 18 assists in 79 appearances for Atalanta, while he currently has two years left on his contract with the Serie A club.

According to Sports Zone, Lookman is also wanted by Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, who are eager to acquire Brentford forward Ivan Toney too.

Toney was omitted from Brentford’s squad to face Crystal Palace on Sunday amid significant interest in his services.

PSG want Victor Osimhen

Luis Enrique’s side are also actively pursuing a new centre forward following Goncalo Ramos’ ankle injury, and Victor Osimhen is currently their preferred target.

Furthermore, the Napoli star is reportedly eager to join PSG, despite significant transfer interest from both Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Blues are hoping to reach an agreement to send Romelu Lukaku to Napoli and sign Osimhen in exchange, but they are yet to finalise a deal and the Nigerian wants to join the Ligue 1 side instead.

Despite their pursuit of Osimhen and the existing presence of Bradley Barcola, PSG are now interested in signing Lookman.

The French giants started their Ligue 1 campaign with a 4-1 win over Le Havre on Friday night, with goals coming from Lee Kang-in, Ousmane Dembele, Barcola and Randal Kolo Muani.
