Ronaldo to PSG? Romano reveals the state of play
Cristiano Ronaldo is not in talks to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer, despite recent speculation linking him with a move to the Ligue 1 giants.
Reports from Portugal have suggested that Ronaldo is on PSG’s radar ahead of the summer window, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has poured cold water on such claims.
He posted on X: “Paris Saint-Germain are not in talks to sign Cristiano Ronaldo despite reports. Discussions [are] not even taking place now.”

Ronaldo, 39, joined Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr following the 2022 World Cup, but he is currently due to become a free agent when his contract with the club expires at the end of June.
The Portugal legend has been heavily linked with a return to Europe in recent weeks, although a move to a different Saudi Arabian club is also an option, while Al-Nassr are working on a contract extension, according to Ben Jacobs.
Ronaldo has scored 74 goals in 83 appearances for Al-Nassr, however he is yet to win a piece of silverware since his arrival in Riyadh.

Cristiano Ronaldo to Ligue 1?
While Romano has dismissed suggestions that Ronaldo will join PSG this summer, a move to Ligue 1 at any point in the future would contradict the 39-year-old’s comments about the division.
During an interview at the Globe Soccer Award, Ronaldo recently said: “The Saudi Pro League is better than Ligue 1, of course.
“I'm not saying that because I play here. I don't care what people think about it. Players should come here and they will see quickly. Just try to do sprints at 38, 39, 40 degrees.
“Come and you will see. If you don't believe me, come. In France, they only have PSG, everyone else is finished. Nobody can beat them because they have the most money and the best players.”
