Juventus have endured another disastrous season, spending much of the campaign under returning manager Max Allegri fighting for a top-four spot.

The Bianconeri failed to beat a top-four rival all campaign and were humiliatingly knocked out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage by Villarreal.

Having now gone two years without winning the Scudetto, there is set to be a mini-revolution this summer in the transfer market.

A host of players, including Paulo Dybala, will be offloaded and replaced.

Below are 10 names to keep an eye on over the summer.

What goalkeepers could transfer to Juventus this summer?

Juventus do not plan to sign any goalkeepers this summer. Wojciech Szczęsny will remain as number one, while Mattia Perin recently signed a new contract as number two. Carlo Pinsoglio will stay as number three.

What defenders could transfer to Juventus this summer?

Bremer (Torino)

Juventus will sign a new centre-back this summer as Giorgio Chiellini could retire, while Leonardo Bonucci is 35.

The dream signing is Torino star Bremer, who was the best defender in Serie A in 2021-22. The Brazilian is lightning fast, aggressive, superb in the air and excellent at winning the ball high up the pitch.

He will leave Torino this summer and Juventus are one of a host of clubs interested in him. However, Inter are currently in the lead to secure his signing.

Benoit Badiashile (Monaco)

Benoit Badiashile is another centre back on Juventus’ shortlist and they could make a move if they decide to go for a younger player.

The 21-year-old Badiashile is considered as one of France’s most promising youngster, with his former teammate Naldo saying he would be the perfect partner for Matthijs de Ligt.

“He has excellent quality on a technical level, he is strong in duels and quick in one-on-one.

“He is the prototype of the modern defender. De Ligt is a great defender, he and Badiashile would form a duo of great quality.”

Man Utd and Newcastle are among a list of other teams interested in Badiashile.

Nahuel Molina (Udinese)

Juventus will look to sign a right back and left back this summer. The Bianconeri are considering making a bid for Udinese star Nahuel Molina.

The Argentina international is the highest scoring right-back in Europe’s big five leagues with six goals and has also been linked with a €25m summer move to Atletico Madrid.

Udinese are a selling-club so this is a deal that very much could happen if Juventus are serious.

“Molina is one of the best right backs anywhere in his position,” Molina’s Udinese teammate Destiny Udogie told The Italian Football Podcast.

“He has crazy numbers. He is very good attacking, very good in finishing. He has a very good cross, I think he will go very far.”

Renan Lodi (Atletico Madrid)

A new left-back is of even greater importance than a new right-back for Juventus.

Alex Sandro has been average for a number of years now, while Luca Pellegrini has now shown enough to suggest he can be the long-term starter in the role.

Juventus have been linked with a number of left backs around Europe, including Udinese Udogie and Hoffenheim’s David Raum.

But it is reported in Italy that their dream signing is Atletico’s Renan Lodi, who is also wanted by Newcastle and another Premier League club.

What midfielders could transfer to Juventus this summer?

Paul Pogba (Man Utd)

Paul Pogba will almost certainly leave Manchester United this summer when his contract expires.

There are three main clubs fighting for his signature; Real Madrid, PSG and Juventus.

FootballTransfers understands that Pogba’s preferred choice is to return to Juve, where he enjoyed the best club football of his career between 2012 and 2016.

But Pogba would need to take a big paycut to move back to Turin.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio)

Juventus plan to sign one top central midfielder this summer, with the feeling that Max Allegri would like one of Paul Pogba or Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to arrive.

Milinkovic-Savic has been one of Serie A’s best midfielders for a number of years now and every summer he is linked with a big-money move away.

Manchester United have been long-time admirers and they could return with another bid this summer, while PSG are also interested.

The biggest obstacle, as always, is Lazio president Claudio Lotito, who is notoriously hard to do business and has stated that Milinkovi-Savic is not for sale.

Davide Frattesi (Sassuolo)

Sassuolo have been the best team in Italy in the last few years at developing young talent, and Davide Frattesi is just the latest.

This season, Frattesi has emerged as one of Italy’s most promising central midfielders and both Juventus and Inter are fighting it out for his signature.

Frattesi’s idol is former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio, a player he has been compared to.

Juventus are believed to be ahead of Inter in the race, but Frattesi could yet stay for another season at Sassuolo too.

Angel Di Maria (PSG)

PSG veteran Angel Di Maria will leave his club this summer when his contract expires.

He wants to stay in Europe for at least a couple of years and his entourage have been offering him to various top clubs.

Juventus are one of these sides and they are considering whether to make a concrete move for the attacking midfielder.

Now 34, Di Maria doesn't quite fit the profile of player that a rebuilding Juventus are looking for but Allegri likes ready-made players and could push for him.

What forwards could transfer to Juventus this summer?

Giacomo Raspadori (Sassuolo)

Juventus and Inter are also leading the chase for another young Sassuolo star in 22-year-old attacker Giacomo Raspadori.

Raspadori has been labelled as the ‘Italian Sergio Aguero’, he is a short, skilful little forward with wonderful close control and finishing ability off both feet.

Juventus have an excellent relationship with Sassuolo – as do Inter – and already signed Manuel Locatelli from them last summer. They are favourites to snap up Raspadori, who scored a goal against them this past season.

Nicolo Zaniolo (Roma)

Juventus have been interested in signing Nicolo Zaniolo for a number of years now and they were set to make an official offer for him a couple of seasons ago.

Then Zaniolo suffered two ACL tears in the space of a year and he has not yet returned to the levels that saw him tipped for stardom.

Zaniolo is refusing to sign a new Roma contract at the moment, so the chances of him leaving this summer are not impossible.

But it remains to be seen whether Juventus would be prepared to pay the €50m asking price for a player coming off two such serious injuries.
