Five managers who could replace Allegri at Juventus

Juventus are not a club that make a habit of changing manager in the middle of the season, but Max Allegri is coming under increasing fire in Turin following his side's embarrassing Sunday defeat to Monza.
It was a game they were widely expected to win. After all, they were playing a side who were bottom of the table with only three goals scored and 14 conceded in six fixtures.
Nevertheless, a goal from Christian Gytkjaer 15 minutes from the end settled the game in favour of the hosts. Earlier, Angel Di Maria had been sent off for a senseless elbow.

Allegri presently has nothing going for him and already there are numerous managers being lined up by the media to replace him. Here are five options.
Thomas Tuchel
Thomas Tuchel is the highest-profile manager available in world football following his shock sacking by Chelsea at the start of September.
Tuchel is the coach who most Juventus fans are calling for – and he has the experience and pedigree to be a success at Juve. He also utilises a three-man backline, which would appear to suit the Juventus squad.
However, Juventus rarely appoint non-Italian coaches and Tuchel may also prove too expensive given Allegri would receive a €40 million-plus gross payoff.
Roberto De Zerbi
Roberto De Zerbi is perhaps Italy’s most promising young coach and he burst onto the scene managing an exciting Sassuolo side.
He plays an attacking brand of progressive football and has become renowned for developing young players such as Gianluca Scamacca, Giacomo Raspadori and Hamed Traore.
However, Juventus may have missed out on the chance to sign De Zerbi as he is in negotiations to replace Graham Potter at Brighton.
Mauricio Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino, like his predecessor at PSG – Tuchel – is also currently out work.
Pochettino has spoken in the past about his admiration for Juventus and his ancestors are from Turn, so he would jump at the chance to take over.
However, Pochettino’s stock dropped at PSG, as he struggled in the Champions League and failed to get the best out of star players Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Zinedine Zidane
Zinedine Zidane would be a somewhat romantic option at Juventus given his success there as a player in the 1990s.
Zidane enjoyed five excellent years at Juve from 1996 to 2001, winning two Serie A titles and the Ballon d’Or.
His record as a manager is also formidable, winning an historic three Champions Leagues in a row and two La Liga titles.
However, it is widely believed that he has already agreed to succeed Didier Deschamps as France national team coach after the World Cup.
Antonio Conte
Antonio Conte’s contract at Tottenham expires at the end of the season and he is refusing to commit to a new deal currently.
It is being speculated among some journalists in Italy that Conte is waiting to see what happens at Juventus in view of returning there at the end of the campaign.
However, if Allegri is to be sacked imminently then Juventus surely can’t wait until May before appointing their next permanent coach.
Conte enjoyed incredible success in Turin as a player and then coach between 2011 and 2014, winning three straight Scudetto as manager.
