Why PSG have edge over Chelsea and Man Utd as Skriniar's price slashed
Inter defender Milan Skriniar is a man in demand in the upcoming transfer windows as he is set to leave the Italian club soon, with his contract coming to an end at the end of the season.
Paris Saint-Germain are the club most interested in him, having tried to sign him all summer, but failed to do so, and will come back for him in the winter.
However, they will face competition from other clubs across Europe and England, and Inter are considering selling him in January to get a fee for him and avoid losing him on a free.
While the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping an eye on the situation, PSG still stay ahead in the race for the Slovakian defender ahead of the transfer window.
Inter set Skriniar price
Manchester United are looking to sign a defender in the coming months and could sign Skriniar in the winter, with the Red Devils feeling it’s an option worth pursuing.
Erik ten Hag’s side have the likes of Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof but they are looking to add some more talent to their backline to add more consistency.
Chelsea, meanwhile, signed players like Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella and Kalidou Koulibaly, but wish to sign a long-term replacement for Thiago Silva as he’s approaching the final years of his career.

Like Manchester United and PSG, they feel Skriniar represents a good opportunity for them and they feel the price is right for a signing in the near future.
Inter have set the asking price at €20 to €25 million if any club wishes to sign the Slovakian in the January transfer window and that has invited many possible suitors.
PSG have the advantage as they have had a long-term interest and the club, including Kylian Mbappe, have been looking to sign a new centre-back, with an active push for him planned in the coming transfer windows.
