Paul Pogba has yet to kick a ball in anger since returning to Juventus from Manchester United last summer, but that hasn't stopped him from posting skiing pictures to his Instagram account this winter…

Juve fans are furious with Pogba after he posted pictures of himself on a skiing holiday on Christmas Day, with one commenting: "Go and train, our patience is over," while another posted that "If he gets hurt skiing, I will lose my mind."

Pogba wasn't actually skiing in the pictures he posted - two on Christmas day with a follow up on Thursday - but his activities whilst holidaying in the snowy mountains was implicit.

Pogba has otherwise been working hard to recover from knee surgery and a thigh strain since returning to Juve, and the Old Lady desperately need him back as the third in the Serie A table, 10 points off Napoli's league-setting pace.

"Patience isn't the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting," Pogba posted on the second of the three pictures in question, and his return date is yet to be confirmed.

Juve's €100m Pogba profit

Juventus have done incredible business over Pogba over the years. The first signed him on a free transfer from Man Utd in 2012 before selling him back for €110 million - a world record fee at the time - in 2016. He made the same Bosman transfer again in July.

Juve fans are understandably impatient to see Pogba back in action. In his first spell at the club he had 34 goals and 40 assists from 178 games in midfield, firing the Old Lady to four consecutive Scudettos and a Champions League final in 2015.

He had Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio for company in midfield for much of that time and would hope to have the same license to get forward this time around with the more defensively-minded Adrien Rabiot on the books… for now.
