Inter plot double raid on Man Utd
Inter Milan are ready to launch a €35 million raid on Manchester United for Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial according to reports in Italy.
Inter were Serie A champions as recently as 2021 but they are only fourth in the table this season, 21-points off Napoli's title-setting pace, and they plan to bolster their squad this summer.
The biggest gaping hole in their side will be at centre-back, with Milan Skriniar set to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, but they will also have room in the final third with the Nerazzurri having little intention of making Romelu Lukaku's return on loan from Chelsea permanent.

And those two gaps could be plugged by a pair of Man Utd players in Lindelof and Martial, with Inter Live claiming that Simone Inzaghi's side are lining up a double bid of €35 million.

"Last summer the names of [Manuel] Akanji, [Caglar] Soyuncu and [Victor] Lindelof arose," they report. "Each were on the way out of their clubs and although the first of those has joined Manchester City, the other two are available in the next transfer market.
"[Lindelof] has a contract with the Red Devils until 2024 but could pack his bags a year early. He and [Martial] are likely to leave… but it is Lindelof whose profile most intrigues Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio."

Inter have previous with United
While Inter would be doing well to get both for that price - Lindelof is valued at €23.5m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm; Martial €31.1m - the Italian's have signed United players at knock-down prices in recent years.
Lukaku may have cost them €65 in the summer of 2019, but Alexis Sanchez followed him to the club on a free after a loan spell while Ashely Young was added to their ranks for just €1.5m the following January.
All three were part of the Scudetto winning squad in 2021, so expect Inter to try and re-find some of that secret source at Old Trafford once again this summer.
