Why Osimhen raged at Napoli coach Spalletti

Victor Osimhen was visibly furious with Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti when substituted during the game against Inter - but there could be a good reason behind why the striker blew his top.

Against the Champions League finalists, the attacker, who looked enraged, was seen asking “Why? Why?"

Osimhnen has 23 goals in Serie A this season, and the reason he was annoyed at being substituted was that he wanted the chance to add to that tally.

His rival for the accolade, Lautaro Martinez, was on the bench at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, and the Nigeria international wanted the chance to extend his lead still further.

After Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa opened the scoring in the contest, Spalletti decided to make a double substitution. He took off Osimhen and Eljif Elmas for Giacomo Raspadori and Giovanni Simeone - leaving the striker furious.

Osimhen is being targeted by Manchester United over a possible move. Naturally seeing the image of the striker looking bitter at his current coach piqued the interest of a number of Red Devils fans, who took to social media to gush over the prospect of Osimhen looking a tad unsettled.
