Juventus urged to sign Real Madrid legend for free by former star
Former Juventus striker Alen Boksic thinks his former club would be missing a trick if they didn't look to Real Madrid in the coming summer transfer window.
Juventus need to strengthen this summer after seeing Inter Milan win this season's Serie A title on Monday with a 2-1 win over city rivals AC Milan, with the Bianconeri 22 points away in third.
They have been linked with a number of top Serie A operators such as Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee and Genoa's Albert Gudmundsson, as well as Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.

But Boksic says they need to cast their net wider, and should be doing everything they can to sign his fellow Croat Luka Modric, who is out of contract with Real Madrid at the end of the season.
"Modric is kissed by God, he is football," the former striker told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I'd tell any top club to sign him, including Juventus.

Modric 'has two years' left
"I don't know if he'll leave Real Madrid, but I'm convinced he has two years of high-level football in his legs. Modric alone wouldn't be enough to close the gap on Inter, who won the title on merit, but he'd surely help."

Modric has significant competition for his midfield spot in Madrid, with Jude Bellingham leading the next generation of Galacticos at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Modric may not cost a fee but he would still command a significant income. Boksic doesn't think the Old Lady with the sale of Dusan Vlahovic, who has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, however.
"Dusan can become a top striker like [Erling] Haaland," he said. "But I don't like comparisons. However, it's more difficult to score goals in Italy than in England. "A striker always depends on his teammates.
"I used to play with [Zinedine] Zidane, [Vladimir] Jugovic, [Didier] Deschamps, [Antonio] Conte, [Alessandro] Del Piero and [Christian Vieri]. Dusan plays in a more defensive Juventus, and they struggle more to create goalscoring opportunities."
