Man Utd Transfer News Today: Zirkzee HEATING UP, Nice BOMB, Romano drops NEW target, Casemiro SHOCK
Joshua Zirkzee is the big transfer story at Manchester United, with the deal to sign the Bologna striker one that is heating up.
David Ornstein revealed on Tuesday that there are “advanced” talks between the player and his agent over the prospect of moving to Old Trafford, yet no deal has been brokered with the Serie A side.
AC Milan, meanwhile, are still widely believed to be leading the race for the striker. According to Fabrizio Romano, though, they are having problems agreeing commission with the player’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, who is asking for €15 million to broker the deal.

Man Utd have been told they could get a discount on this price, according to Nick Semeraro.
While the Red Devils are far from completing a deal, the trend seems to be moving in their favour.

OGC Nice bomb
UEFA rules are prohibiting Man Utd from signing OGC Nice players this summer as both INEOS-owned clubs will be in the Europa League next season, according to Fabrizio Romano.
This comes off the back of a Footmercato report stating that Man Utd's interest in Jean-Clair Todibo has gone cold. Romano has revealed that the reason for this is quite simply the fact that a deal can't be done.
Man Utd and Nice had been engaged in talks over a transfer, and Todibo was keen on the move, but they eventually found out that they are not actually allowed to do business.
Romano reveals surprise target
Man Utd were expected to focus on a few select positions this summer, yet Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the Old Trafford club might not be so picky.
Indeed, he has revealed that Erik ten Hag’s men could make a surprise move for a central midfielder.
“It will be a busy summer, but in the last 24-48 hours, Man Utd have started some enquiries on the market for a new midfielder,” he says. “They’re looking at the opportunities in the midfield, especially as Casemiro leaving Manchester United is still a strong possibility. They’re assessing options.
“Keep a back on left-back, centre-back, striker but also midfield.”
Casemiro in shock Bayern link
Bayern Munich made a surprise approach for Man Utd midfielder Casemiro, according to Trivela.
While talks were made, these were only very preliminary, with the Brazilian turning down FCB on the basis of the financial package they offered him.
He continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford, and while he apparently wants to continue at the top level, clubs from the Saudi Pro League appear likeliest to match Man Utd’s demands.
Bruno Fernandes new contract talks expected
Bruno Fernandes is another Manchester United player who has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but the Portugal star could be in line for a new deal at Old Trafford if he does not leave.
A new deal for the playmaker is not considered to be a priority for the Red Devils, the Manchester Evening News reports, but they will open talks if the player stays beyond the end of the transfer window.
"I will be here if the club wants me to be a part of the future. If for some reason they don't want me, I will go,” Bruno said at the end of the season.
