Arsenal linked with cut-price transfer for BARGAIN Isak alternative

There is a lot of speculation about the future of Brian Brobbey, who according to The Sun is on the verge of leaving Ajax.
The Amsterdam club is said to be open to a departure of the 22-year-old striker. Brobbey was already linked with a move to the Premier League during the winter transfer period, where Arsenal are also said to be on the lookout.
Brobbey enjoys the confidence of Francesco Farioli, who is currently unable to count on Wout Weghorst due to injury. The latter is on the way back, but his absence seems to have been liberating for Brobbey. In the competition with Weghorst, he scored 4 times in 32 matches, but now that the 32-year-old striker is injured, Brobbey has already found the net 3 times in 6 appearances.
Ajax had the chance of selling Brobbey last winter via a loan deal with an option to buy. West Ham United showed interest, but both player and club saw no benefit in a temporary departure.
Then there was a lot of speculation about a summer transfer of Brobbey, who according to Voetbal International would be one of the players Ajax could earn a nice transfer fee from.
FCUpdate: Which clubs is Ajax competing with for the 145 million euro treasure chest?
According to The Sun, Brobbey has now been given permission by Ajax to leave the club next summer. The English tabloid speculates about an asking price of 21 million pounds, the equivalent of more than 25 million euros. This is partly due to the financial situation in which Ajax finds itself, it can be read. Brobbey still has a contract until mid-2027 and represents an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of 33.4 million euros.
Arsenal linked with Brobbey transfer
Arsenal is explicitly mentioned in the latest reports from England as a club with interest. The Londoners were previously charmed by the services of Brobbey and it is not entirely clear how concrete the Gunners are for the Ajax striker at the moment.
It is plausible that Brobbey is still on Arsenal's list, as the English top club is explicitly looking for one or more new strikers.
Brobbey had previously been linked to Manchester United while Erik ten Hag was manager, while Arsenal may see the Dutch striker as an alternative to Alexander Isak, who is proving unattainable as the club's top target.
