'Can't wait to see him back in Europe!' - Twitter reacts to Ronaldo's four-goal haul
Cristiano Ronaldo struck all four goals as Al Nassr routed Al Wehda in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday, silencing fans who jeered him off the park with shouts of 'Messi, Messi' recently.
Ronaldo doubters have had plenty of ammo to use against him in recent months: a single goal in his final Premier League season; an unsanctioned interview with Piers Morgan; a lone penalty at the World Cup as Lionel Messi went on to win it with Argentina.
When he swapped Manchester United for Al Nassr after his "mutually agreed" release from the former, his €200 million a year contract seemed to be as much about the profile he could bring Saudi Arabian football of the field as the goals he might score on it.

When Al Nassr were beaten 3-1 by Al Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup last month, Ronaldo was met with jeers of 'Messi, Messi'. He has already drawn a blank on his debut, a 1-0 win over Al Ittifaq secured by his teammate Talisca.
But he has re-found his goalscoring touch. His injury-time penalty to snatch a 2-2 draw against Al Fatteh last Friday was a taster, and now he has bagged all four as his new employers have beaten Al Wehda 4-0.
Naturally, those on Twitter piled in for and against Ronaldo in the age old GOAT argument…
