Romano announces SECOND Man Utd here we go as Onana jets in ahead of transfer
Manchester United’s transfer window is set to pick up pace in the hours ahead, with Fabrizio Romano announcing that two major changes to Erik ten Hag’s squad are close – including the signing of Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Onana is poised to join the club from Inter, with everything in order for a deal worth a total of €55 million the be completed in the hours ahead.
The Cameroon international goalkeeper only has to complete a series of formalities before signing for the Red Devils.

Man Utd will face Lyon in Edinburgh on Wednesday before jetting off on their tour of the USA, and it is Ten Hag’s intention to have his former Ajax goalkeeper among his ranks by the time his side tackle Arsenal in New Jersey on Saturday.
Romano reported that Onana was due to fly into Birmingham in the early hours of Wednesday from Turin, with his medical set to take place later today. The signing of the 27-year-old should be completed shortly thereafter.
He will be Man Utd’s third signing of the summer, with Mason Mount and, surprisingly, Jonny Evans having already joined the club.
