When was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked by Man Utd?
Solskjaer’s appointment at Besiktas marks his first managerial job since leaving Man Utd in November 2021.
The Red Devils legend was fired following a 4-1 defeat to Watford, with Man Utd languishing in seventh place in the Premier League table - 12 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
Solskjaer had replaced Jose Mourinho as interim manager at Old Trafford in December 2018, before signing a permanent deal in March 2019 following a string of impressive results.
