Romano finally gives Bellingham HERE WE GO
Fabrizio Romano has dropped a significant Bellingham transfer update, reporting that Jude Bellingham’s younger brother Jobe is set to join Sunderland from Birmingham City.
Like Jude, Jobe – who turns 18 in September – came through Birmingham’s academy system to get his first-team break as a teenager – becoming the Blues’ second-youngest debutant of all time, behind his brother.
Birmingham endured another disappointing season in the Championship, finishing 17th, but Bellingham’s prodigious performances appear to have caught the eye of Sunderland – who missed out on a return to the Premier League by losing to Luton Town in the play-off semi-finals earlier this week.

According to Romano, Birmingham and Sunderland have agreed a £3m (€3.4m) deal for Bellingham to make the switch to the Stadium of Light this summer.
The versatile midfielder made 22 league appearances in 2022/23, taking his overall tally for the Blues to 26 in all competitions – having only made his senior debut in January last year.
Bellingham has also featured for England at various youth levels, captaining the U18 side during their tour of Croatia in March.

Bellingham bound for massive Madrid move?
For Jude, meanwhile, a big move to Real Madrid appears to remain very much on the cards, with the LaLiga giants said to have opened talks for the Borussia Dortmund and England star.
Liverpool had been heavily linked with a swoop for the 19-year-old but dropped out of the race amid concerns over the fee Dortmund would likely demand – potentially as much as a whopping €150m.
Manchester City were also rumoured to be considering approach, but it seems as though Real are steadily closing in on the signing of one of the hottest properties in world football.
