Juventus interested in Pedro Neto deal
Juventus are considering a bid for Pedro Neto this summer, just a few weeks after the Portuguese signed a new five-year deal with Wolves.
The 20-year-old has stepped up for the Premier League side in 2020/21 to help fill the void left by compatriot Diogo Jota who left for Liverpool in the summer.
He has featured in every single game of the new season so far, scoring one goal and assisting a further two, earning an average FootballCritic rating of 6.9 for his performances so far.
His performances have drawn the admiration of Juventus, who are keen to bolster their forward line with a player who can be deployed in numerous positions, according to Tuttosport.
Over his last 50 appearances, he has featured most on the left wing, but as you can see from the graphic above he can play in any position behind the striker as well as in the centre-forward role if required.
Key to any deal would be super agent Jorge Mendes, who has brokered numerous deals to Wolves over the past couple of years, while he has close ties to Juventus as he acts as the agent of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Neto signed from Braga for a fee of £16m in August of 2019, and although he would go on to make 29 appearances in the 2019/20 season, only nine of them were starts in the Premier League.
With eight starts in 2020/21 he is already close to matching that tally despite the season being in its infancy.
After contributing five goals and five assists in all competitions last season, and starting the new campaign in good form, Neto was recently awarded a new five-year contract at Molineux.
That puts Wolves in the driving seat when naming their asking price to Juventus.
