West Ham striker Antonio signs new deal till 2023

West Ham striker Michail Antonio has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Premier League side till 2023.
The 30-year-old winger-turned-striker joined the London club in 2015 from Nottingham Forest.
Antonio has always been an instrumental player for the Hammers but it was a late run of form in last season’s league campaign which saw him pick up eight goals in seven games which ultimately saved the club from relegation.
The English forward has continued that impressive run of form under David Moyes this season, with three goals in his first seven games.
And it seems as though the club felt obliged to offer Antonio an extension to his contract, which was set to expire at the end of the season.

“I got eight goals in one month, so I’ve got two-and-half years now to see how many more I can get and how far I can get!” he told West Ham TV.
“I definitely want to get to the 50-goal mark in the Premier League and see how I can go on from there.
“I’ve been here for five-and-a-half years, this season will be six and by the time my contract expires it will be eight years.
“Before I signed here, the longest I had been at a club was two years, so it shows that I’ve been here, done my work, been able to secure my position and keep growing as a player.”
