Nike have provided the playing kits for Chelsea ever since the 2017/18 season. The Blues were famous for their Adidas kits after leaving Umbro before the 2006/07 campaign, but a lucrative offer from Nike persuaded them to end their Adidas deal six years early.

Chelsea's deal with Nike is reported to be worth £60 million a season, which is said to be double what Adidas were paying the Stamford Bridge side.

Donning their blue home kit, Thomas Tuchel's side will be hoping to emulate last season's Champions League success in a new strip for the 2021/22 season.

FootballTransfers takes a look at all the kits Chelsea will be wearing this campaign.

Chelsea's 2021/22 home kit

As expected, the Blues' home kit is, of course, blue, but it also features two different patterns that merge into one.

One is a zig-zag pattern, which covers around two-thirds of the shirt, while the rest is a simple chequered pattern. It's slightly unusual for a team to have two designs on a shirt, but Chelsea have bucked that trend.

There are also hints of yellow down the side of the shirt, the Nike swoosh, and the CFC writing on the back of the neck, to give it a more colourful look.

The yellow from the shirt aligns perfectly with the shorts, which have the same design.

It is made from 100% recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles, and Nike were inspired by optical art, hence the patterns seen prevalently.

The kit is an homage to the 1960s, with the design harking back to the days of Peter Bonetti, Ron Harris, and Bobby Tambling.

Chelsea's 2021/22 away kit

Like many Chelsea away kits in the past, this season's shirt is once again yellow, with the vibrant colour standing out.

There are small black stripes across the shirt which are a nod to the pinstriped past of the club's jerseys.

Just as with the home kit, this jersey is made from recycled plastic bottles, and on the inside of the shirt, the ‘Pride of London’ logo can be seen.

To go with the yellow shirt, there are black shorts and yellow socks.

Chelsea's 2021/22 third kit

The final outfield kit for the Blues this season is a striking new third kit.

It's been inspired by outdoor brand Nike ACG, and is reportedly 'ready to take centre stage under the European lights.'

Featuring a mix of turquoise and black, the shirt has a camouflage-esque feel to it, which is juxtaposed by the bright orange elements on the sides, the collar and the logos.

Chelsea's 2021/22 goalkeeper kit

Chelsea actually have several goalkeeper tops for the 2021/22 season. The main one is this all grey kit which has been seen in action plenty of times.

However, an all green and an all orange kit have also been worn on multiple occasions.

Chelsea’s 2021-22 training kit

Chelsea's training kit is a creative number, with blue, yellow, black and white elements on a chequerboard design.

It is worn during warm-ups before games, while during training, black tops with a hint of yellow can be seen at Cobham.

Chelsea's 2021-22 kids and baby kit

Just as with the adult kits, Nike have Chelsea kits for kids and babies, simply in smaller sizes.

The same patterns and designs are available for kids, while the baby kit includes shorts and socks as well as the shirt.

How much will Chelsea’s kits cost and where to buy?

All Chelsea's kits are available to buy on the club's official website. Adult shirts are selling for £69.95, which rises to £84.95 with a player name on the back. It's £104.95 for an authentic match shirt, and with a player's name on the back as well, it costs £119.95 for the match shirt.

The goalkeeper top is also £69.95 as it's short sleeve.

A kids shirt costs £54.95, or £69.95 with a name printed onto the back.

For infants, it costs £44.95 for the shirt, shorts and socks. With a name, that increases to £59.95.

The kits are available online and in club stores, as well as on the Nike website and in stores. They can also be bought in most major sports and football retail shops.
