FIFA 22 has been released for a while now which means users have started to get to grips with the new edition of Ultimate Team and Career Mode.

Within Career Mode in FIFA, one of the most fun aspects of it is to identify and target younger players who perhaps have a lower initial rating but who could potentially turn into superstars.

If young players are developed correctly, a user can eventually have a dream team without having spent much money as younger players naturally don't cost as much as established stars.

In the goalkeeper position, here are 10 of the best wonderkids to sign in Career Mode.

Of all the goalkeepers 22 or under, Gianluigi Donnarumma is actually the highest rated and has the highest potential, but as he is very well known has been left off our list.

After him, we have Genk stopper Maarten Vandevoordt who starts FIFA 22 Career Mode with a rating of 71. Though that is a small early rating, his potential is as high as 87 which would put him among the very best goalkeepers in the game.

Illan Meslier is probably the most well known name on the list which means he will likely cost the most as he plays with Leeds in the Premier League.

If you can spare the funds, the Frenchman will be worth it in the long run.

Porto's Diogo Costa represents another very interesting potential acquisition.

Towards the lower end of the scale we have the cheapest option in Portsmouth goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu.

He is nowhere near ready enough for first team action if you were to sign him right away for an elite club, but should be targeted as a player for the future.
