The next international break is not until the middle of November so Premier League sides will need to contend with a packed fixture schedule over the next month.

As we head into winter, the Premier League table will start to take shape, as clubs either look to continue to capitalise on a positive start or strive towards improvements.

Manchester City are currently defending champions, having wrestled their title back from previous champions Liverpool in the 2020/21 season.

Brentford, Watford and Norwich have all came up from the Championship and, so far, have had contrasting fortunes.

Focusing on the 'Big Six' in the division, this is how the next 10 matches will play out.

What are Man City’s next fixtures?

Man City v Burnley (H) - 16 October 2021

Brighton v Man City (A) - 23 October 2021

Man City v Crystal Palace (H) - 30 October 2021

Man Utd v Man City (A) - 6 November 2021

Man City v Everton (H) - 21 November 2021

Man City v West Ham (H) - 28 November 2021

Aston Villa v Man City (A) - 30 November 2021

Watford v Man City (A) - 4 December 2021

Man City v Wolves (H) - 11 December 2021

Man City v Leeds (H) -

The fixture that naturally stands out from this list is the Manchester derby scheduled in for 6 November.

Apart from that game, Man City do not face any other of the Big Six within the next 10 fixtures. They have already played Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in their opening seven matches.

What are Man Utd’s next fixtures?

Leicester v Man Utd (A) - 16 October 2021

Man Utd v Liverpool (H) - 24 October 2021

Tottenham v Man Utd (A) - 30 October 2021

Man Utd v Man City (H) - 6 November 2021

Watford v Man Utd (A) - 20 November 2021

Chelsea v Man Utd (A) - 28 November 2021

Man Utd v Arsenal (H) - 30 Novermber 2021

Man Utd v Crystal Palace (H) - 4 December 2021

Norwich v Man Utd (A) - 11 December 2021

Brentford v Man Utd (A) - 14 December 2021

Unfortunately for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he faces arguably the toughest next 10 fixtures of any of the Big Six managers.

Over the next four games Man Utd will take on Leicester away, Liverpool at home, Tottenham away and Man City at home.

Then at the end of November they also have a double-header against Chelsea and Arsenal within a few days.

With pressure already on the Norwegian, this stretch of fixtures may be make or break.

What are Liverpool’s next fixtures?

Watford v Liverpool (A) - 16 October 2021

Man Utd v Liverpool (A) - 24 October 2021

Liverpool v Brighton (H) - 30 October 2021

West Ham v Liverpool (A) - 7 November 2021

Liverpool v Arsenal (H) - 20 November 2021

Liverpool v Southampton (H) - 27 November 2021

Everton v Liverpool (A) - 30 November 2021

Wolves v Liverpool (A) - 4 December 2021

Liverpool v Aston Villa (H) - 11 December 2021

Liverpool v Newcastle (H) - 15 December 2021

Liverpool have started the season superbly and will be hoping to keep up their current momentum heading into the turn of the year.

The highlight fixture they have coming up is undoubtedly Man Utd at Anfield on 24 October.

With fans not back allowed into the stadium for this fixture, it should be a hell of an atmosphere on Merseyside.

The Reds also have Everton in the derby at the end of November.

What are Chelsea’s next fixtures?

Brentford v Chelsea (A) - 16 October 2021

Chelsea v Norwich (H) - 23 October 2021

Newcastle v Chelsea (A) - 30 October 2021

Chelsea v Burnley (H) - 6 November 2021

Leicester v Chelsea (A) - 20 November 2021

Chelsea v Man Utd (H) -28 November 2021

Watford v Chelsea (A) - 30 November 2021

West Ham v Chelsea (A) - 4 December 2021

Chelsea v Leeds (H) - 11 December 2021

Chelsea v Everton (H) - 15 December 2021

This weekend Chelsea take on neighbours Brentford for the first time ever in the Premier League which will be a big occasion, especially for the Bees.

Fast-forwarding ahead to the end of November and Thomas Tuchel will be hoping for performances against Leicester away and then Man Utd at home.

At home to Leeds on 11 December should be a tasty affair also.

What are Tottenham’s next fixtures?

Newcastle v Tottenham (A) - 17 October 2021

West Ham v Tottenham (A) - 24 October 2021

Tottenham v Man Utd (H) - 30 October 2021

Everton v Tottenham (A) - 7 November 2021

Tottenham v Leeds (H) - 21 November 2021

Burnley v Tottenham (A) - 28 November 2021

Tottenham v Brentford (H) - 1 December 2021

Tottenham v Norwich (H) - 4 December 2021

Brighton v Tottenham (A) - 11 December 2021

Leicester v Tottenham (A) - 14 December 2021

Tottenham have had an average start to the new season and are currently in eighth.

This weekend they have the noted privilege of being the first team to face Newcastle in the Premier League since the controversial Saudi takeover.

The Magpies and their fans will be buoyant at the thought of the incoming riches, but they'll have to make do with their current squad until January which will provide Spurs with some impetus to spoil the party.

A fairly kind run of fixtures for Tottenham, though Man Utd at home will be tough.

What are Arsenal’s next fixtures?

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (H) - 18 October 2021

Arsenal v Aston Villa (H) - 22 October 2022

Leicester v Arsenal (A) - 30 October 2022

Arsenal v Watford (H) - 7 Novermber 2022

Liverpool v Arsenal (A) - 20 November 2022

Arsenal v Newcastle (H) - 27 November 2022

Man Utd v Arsenal (A) - 30 November 2022

Everton v Arsenal (A) - 4 December 2022

Arsenal v Southampton (H) - 11 December 2022

Arsenal v West Ham (H) - 14 December 2022

Arsenal lost their opening three games of the season and two of them came against Chelsea and Manchester City so they have had a fairer run recently, facing Norwich, Burnley then Brighton.

Within the next 10 games, however, Mikel Arteta and his men will face Leicester, Liverpool, Man Utd and Everton.
