West Ham’s Robert Snodgrass joins West Brom on 18-month deal
West Brom have completed the signing of West Ham forward Robert Snodgrass on an 18-month contract.
The former Scotland international moves to the Hawthorns for an undisclosed fee, having featured just six times for West Ham this season.
The Baggies have the third worst offensive record in the Premier League this season, with just 11 goals scored in 17 games.
The Scottish wide forward has scored 26 goals and picked up a further 25 assists in the English top flight over the course of his career.
And new manager Sam Allardyce is hopeful that Snodgrass can help bolster a troubled attacking line.

Speaking to West Brom’s website, Sam Allardyce said: “I’m absolutely delighted that he has chosen to take up the challenge with us. He’ll add Premier League experience and Premier League quality to our side.
“He’s left-footed. We all look for balance. When you get the right balance in the team with left-footed players, they can really produce for you down that left side.
“He tells me he’s played holding midfield, left of a three, wide left and right, so he’s pretty versatile across midfield.
“I’ve heard from many, many people that he is exceptional in the dressing room which is a great bonus on top of his abilities.”
Since leaving Scottish Premiership side Livingston in 2008 Snodgrass has proved his worth at a number of English clubs in the Premier League and Championship.
He first ventured south of the border to join Leeds United, before moving to Norwich and then stints at Hull City, Aston Villa, West Ham and now West Brom.
While Snodgrass has struggled for game time at the Olympic Stadium this season and is now 33 years of age, the Scot did have a productive campaign in the Premier League last season.
In 24 games, Snodgrass picked up an impressive five goals and five assists. And while it may not have topped any table in the English top flight, it’s exactly the kind of return Allardyce will hoping to get from the player in the second half of this season.
