Wonderkid Amad Diallo to make Man Utd debut?
Manchester United wonderkid Amad Diallo was named in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s matchday squad for the first time for the FA Cup clash against West Ham.
Diallo was named on the bench for Tuesday’s FA Cup fifth-round game versus the Hammers at Old Trafford.
The 18-year-old winger is regarded as one of the most exciting young players in Europe and moved to Manchester United in a big-money transfer in January.
The Red Devils splashed out a potential fee of €40 million for the teenager from Atalanta, despite him featuring in only five senior games for the Italian side.
Diallo has already made an outstanding impact for Manchester United’s Under-23 side.
He scored two goals on his debut in the Premier League 2 match against Liverpool, including an impudent ‘Panenka’ penalty.
The youngster then followed that up with a hat-trick of assists and another goal in the 6-4 victory over Blackburn last week.
This earned him a place on the senior team’s bench for the first time for Man Utd’s match against West Ham.
Solskjaer fielded a strong line-up for the clash, with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood all starting in attack.
