‘Man City, Arsenal and Leicester would be interested in Abraham’
If Chelsea were interested in selling Tammy Abraham a number of Premier League clubs including Manchester City, Arsenal, Leicester City and West Ham would be interested in signing him, according to Trevor Sinclair.
The young English striker enjoyed a fruitful campaign last season with 18 goals and six assists in 46 games for the Stamford Bridge side.
However, despite how well Abraham did up front for Chelsea last season, the Premier League giants decided to sign a number of new forwards in the summer transfer window – most notable Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
On top of that, Frank Lampard – the manager that put so much faith in Abraham last season – was replaced by Thomas Tuchel in January and since then the young striker has struggled for game time.
So far this season Abraham has made just 12 starts from a possible 26 Premier League games to date and as such a number of reports have begun to speculate over the striker’s future at Chelsea.
However, should the London club decide to sell the young goal scorer then Sinclair believes a number of clubs in the Premier League would be lining up to sign him.
“I’m a huge fan. He’s a threat with his pace in behind, his link-up play is excellent. If you look at some of the top sides in the Premier League, I think so many take him,” said Sinclair on TalkSPORT.
“I think Man City take him, Arsenal would take him, Leicester City would take him, West Ham would take him. He’s so undervalued. They would have him in a heartbeat.”

Does Tuchel rate Abraham?
While Tuchel has only been in charge of Chelsea for nine games we can already get some idea of which players the German coach is prioritising and which ones have fallen by the side of his plans.
For example, in those first nine games Abraham has started just four matches – with one of them coming against Barnsley in the FA Cup – and has largely been reduced to the role of an impact sub or not used at all.
In Chelsea’s most important games to date under Tuchel – such as the league matches against Manchester United, Man City and then Atletico Madrid in the Champions League – the German coach hasn’t used Abraham at all.
Whether Tuchel believes the young striker has the potential to develop into a starter at Chelsea remains to be seen, but at the moment he seems to be looking elsewhere for goals.
