Chelsea will only get better under Tuchel, Klopp predicts
Chelsea will be a contender for the Premier League title next season due to their formidable squad depth, according to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds face a fight to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season and are, therefore, likely to miss out on Champions League football in 2020/21.

Nevertheless, having picked up the title a year ago, they will be among the front runners for more silverware after injuries have decimated their squad this season.
But while Liverpool’s difficulties have caught the headlines, so too has the improvement from Chelsea under head coach Thomas Tuchel – and Klopp believes the man who replaced him at Borussia Dortmund will only continue to lead the Blues higher.
“I said when Thomas Tuchel arrived at Chelsea the squad is a present and that squad together with Thomas works out pretty well,” he said.
“If you look at the squad, they can make 11 changes to their team and you think: ‘That’s a proper team.’ They will go for it next season, definitely. They will get better not worse. Manchester United are also in a good way.”
Guardiola the best manager in the world – Klopp
Klopp, meanwhile, thinks that Manchester City will again be the team to beat, having sealed the title on Tuesday as Manchester United lost at home to Leicester.
“When you bring together financial resources and football knowledge you have a good chance to create something special and that’s the case at Man City,” he said.
“They have an incredible squad and the best manager in the world and that makes it a good recipe.
“It’s always a joy to play against them because it’s a massive challenge from a football point of view. You can beat them but you have to be at your absolute top to do so. That happens from time to time but not this season, obviously.”
