Some of the most entertaining players, once again, this campaign have been those who attempt to take players on using their dribbling abilities.

Whether it be via close control or raw pace and power, some stars in the Premier League have notched up some outstanding numbers for their dribbles.

As shown on the table above, by far the most successful dribbler in the Premier League in 2020/21 was Wolves star Adama Traore, who completed a sensational 234 dribbles from 323 attempts, leading to a success rate of 72%.

Liverpool’s Sadio Mane is in second with 125 while Newcastle’s Allan Saint-Maximin is in third with 120.

In fourth is Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish on 117.

That means that Traore completed more than double the dribbles of every player in the league apart from just two, Mane and Saint-Maximin – a truly remarkable feat.

Furthermore, Traore’s success rate of 72% of also the highest in the top 10.

The player with the lowest success rate in the top 10 is Man Utd’s Marcus Rashford. Overall, he attempted the second-highest number of dribbles of any player in the league with 227 only to complete 113 of those for a success rate of just under 50%.

Saint-Maximin is known for his dribbling abilities and would likely have been higher on the list if he suffered injury and illness as he only started 19 Premier League fixtures.

Grealish, too, missed three months of action yet finds himself in the top five, which is mightily impressive.

Eberechi Eze, Ademola Lookman, Wilfried Zaha, Stuart Armstrong and Tanguy Ndombele rounded out the top 10.

Pedro Neto and Raheem Sterling are in the top 10 for attempted dribbles but not in the top 10 for completed dribbles.
