Arsenal and Leicester in transfer battle for Noa Lang
Following his excellent performance in Club Brugge’s 1-1 draw with PSG this midweek, Noa Lang’s stock has risen. The 22-year-old Dutch winger has even signed a new contract with Club Brugge in the days since that game, one that now runs until 2025, but that won’t stop some of Europe’s wealthiest clubs from chasing him and that includes Arsenal and Leicester City.

According to a report from Fichajes, there are three teams still seriously monitoring Noa Lang’s situation at Club Brugge, with a view to signing him in the summer of 2022. Those three clubs are Arsenal, Leicester City and AC Milan.
The price for the winger would be around 22m euros, although that could yet rise further if he continues to perform well this campaign. Already he has three goals and four assists for his club in the Belgian league, following on from an incredible 2020/21 season in which he produced 17 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.
The reason why Leicester may have an advantage
In the race to sign Noa Lang, Leicester City may have an advantage as they have already worked on multiple deals with the Wasserman agency that represents the Club Brugge player.
In the Foxes’ current squad, Jamie Vardy, Harvey Barnes, Hamza Choudhury, Luke Thomas and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are all current clients of the agency.
