Salah makes history for Liverpool in Brentford thriller

Mohamed Salah is now the fastest player in Liverpool history to score 100 league goals for the club.
On Saturday evening, Jurgen Klopp's side took on Brentford in what proved to be one of the best Premier League games of the season so far.
Liverpool initially had to come behind to make the scoreline, but were twice pegged back by Brentford in the second half as the Bees eventually scored in the last 10 minutes to secure the 3-3 draw.
Salah looked sharp from the get-go and very nearly opened the scoring with a finish through the goalkeeper's legs that was thwarted by a miraculous clearance by Kristoffer Ajer.

The Egyptian would eventually get on the scoresheet, though.
Nine minutes after the break he latched on to a lovely ball over the top of the Brentford defence from Fabinho to confidently finish with his first touch into the corner.
The goal was initially flagged as offside, but VAR showed that he was just behind the opposition backline.
Unfortunately for Salah, he would pass up a massive opportunity to take the game beyond Brentford as he dinked a strike over the bar while attempting to lift the ball over the oncoming David Raya.
It was still a memorable night, though, as he scored his 100th Premier League goal in just 151 top flight games - a new record for Liverpool.
Liverpool's top 10 scorers of all time
Not only did Salah become the outright fastest player to reach 100 league goals, but he also entered Liverpool's top 10 scorers of all time despite playing for the club for just four-and-a-bit seasons so far.
In all competitions, he has scored 131 competitions.
The top Liverpool scorer of all time remains legendary forward Ian Rush, who netted 346 times for the club.
