Fiorentina want to sell Vlahovic to Arsenal NOW
Fiorentina are keen to sell Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window as their relationship with the player and his representatives has deteriorated further.
Vlahovic is one of the hottest commodities in world football currently due to his goalscoring exploits for the Viola.
In the 2021/22 campaign alone, he has made 23 starts in all competitions for Fiorentina, scoring 20 goals.
Arsenal are one of the clubs leading the race for his signature, as the Gunners are desperate for a new centre-forward this month.
According to respected Italian football journalist Gianluigi Longari, Fiorentina want to sell Vlahovic to Arsenal this window, but the player himself wants to wait until the summer before choosing his next club.
FOOTBALLTRANSFERS' MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS IN THE WORLD
“Fiorentina are open if there is a big offer to sell him immediately now,” Longari told The Italian Football Podcast.
“They have a bad relationship with Vlahovic’s camp. If Arsenal make an important offer now for Vlahovic, they will accept that. Arsenal have already made two offers for him.
“But we also have to recognise the will of the player. Vlahovic and his people want to wait until the summer.

“Juventus are in strong talks with Vlahovic’s camp, Tottenham also made an enquiry.
“For the moment, Vlahovic hasn’t accepted Arsenal because he wants to wait until the summer.
"He doesn’t want to make a choice in January. Of course, he could change his mind but this is the situation now.
“Barcelona are also in talks with Vlahovic for the summer.”
What clubs are interested in Vlahovic?
Last summer, two clubs made a bid for Vlahovic. These were Atletico Madrid and Tottenham. Arsenal and Man City also made enquiries.
Tottenham and Arsenal’s interest has only increased since then and both could make official bids this month. Spurs see Vlahovic as not only a long-term successor to Harry Kane, but believe he can play alongside the Englishman also.
Arsenal also want Vlahovic to be their new number 9 given that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette should both leave this year.
Vlahovic is said to be interested in joining Tottenham as he believes that Antonio Conte is the perfect manager for him, but he is not keen on Arsenal.
Juventus also have Vlahovic on the top of their shortlist as they search for a new striker. But the Bianconeri can’t afford to pay a straight transfer fee, certainly not in January, which means they are left hoping that Vlahovic pushes to join them.
In the case of all three clubs, Vlahovic is only interested in joining a team who are playing Champions League football and that is not certain for any of the trio.
Man City are also keeping an eye on developments as they still wish to sign a natural number nine this year, despite their incredible form.
