Bukayo Saka is the Arsenal player under the age of 21 with the most potential, according to SciSports.

FootballTransfers' transfer valuations and player potential metrics are calculated in collaboration with SciSports, a world-leading football analytics agency that assesses over 60,000 professional footballers worldwide.

Saka is only 20-years-old, but is already one of Arsenal's most important players.

The England international made his debut for the Gunners in January of 2019 and has went from strength to strength.

In terms of goal contributions in the Premier League, he has already had the best season of his career in 2021/22, scoring seven himself and setting up a further four.

SciSports rates his potential at 147.5 which is much higher than any other player in the senior squad or youth sides under the age of 21.

There is only one other Arsenal player under the age of 21 who regularly features for the first team and that is Gabriel Martinelli. He has a current skill level of 81.5 and a potential skill level of 109.8.

Like Saka, the Brazilian is having the best season of his career in England, with four goals and two assists in the league so far.

Potential of Arsenal Under 23 players

From the Arsenal Under-23s squad, the player with the most potential is Zane Monlouis.

The young defender is an Arsenal fan and has already trained with the senior squad, hoping to impress manager Mikel Arteta.

Below him is Mazeed Ogungbo, who is also a defender. He is usually deployed as a left-back, but in his development, he has received minutes at centre-back, too, so his versatility will certainly stand him in good stead as he hopes to break into the first team.

Joel Lopez is in third. Like a certain Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin, Lopez was plucked from La Masia at Barcelona.

The most well-known name from the Under-23 side is Charlie Patino as he has already made his first-team debut for Arsenal. With the North London side short of central midfielders, he will likely see some more action before the current season concludes.

Potential of Arsenal loan players

Arsenal have a couple of big name players under the age of 21 out on loan. William Saliba has been hugely impressive for Marseille, and if Arsenal don't want him there are rumours that Real Madrid do.

He has a current skill level of 91.6 and a potential skill level of 122.4.

In the January transfer window, Folarin Balogun was allowed to leave for Middlesbrough on loan. His current skill level is 73.9, while his potential is 98.1.
