Christopher Nkunku is playing the best football of his career and a move in the summer could be on the cards after such an impressive season with RB Leipzig.

The French attacker has scored 34 goals and assisted 19 across all competitions for the Red Bulls this season, and that has attracted the interest of several top clubs across Europe.

He has also been named the Bundesliga Player of the Month on four separate occasions this season, which is the most by any player in a single Bundesliga campaign ever.

According to sources in Germany, Leipzig aren’t keen on selling the player, but would listen to any offers above €75 million for the Frenchman.

However, reports in France say differently, as they believe Nkunku has said he wants to leave, but the club are refusing any offers for the player.

Regardless, there is still plenty of interest in a player who has been one of Europe’s biggest goal creators this season and he could boost many sides’ attacking lines.

Barcelona, Manchester United, Milan and Chelsea are believed to be the four clubs most interested in signing Nkunku, and a move could be a possibility, according to L'Equipe.

Barcelona have a tough financial situation, so funding a move that big could be quite difficult for the Blaugrana, especially if they don’t sell players.

Manchester United and Chelsea would be the likeliest options, as they would be able to afford the player and could raise further funds through sales.

Milan also seems unlikely, but things could change if the situation around their ownership changes in the coming weeks.

Nkunku joined RB Leipzig in the summer of 2019 from Paris Saint-Germain and has continuously improved at the club, playing under managers like Julian Nagelsmann and Jesse Marsch.

Although this hasn’t been a comfortable season for Leipzig in the Bundesliga, Nkunku has been a consistent star and could finish the season with a top four spot and a DFB Pokal, which would be Leipzig’s first-ever trophy.
