Bellingham transfer news: How Rose sacking effects Man Utd, Liverpool and Real Madrid
Borussia Dortmund’s shock decision to sack head coach Marco Rose is set to have a knock-on effect on Jude Bellingham’s future at the club.
With Erling Haaland set to be sold by the Bundesliga club this summer to Manchester City, they are eager to hold onto their other key assets.
England international Bellingham is undoubtedly one of these, having established himself as a sure member of the starting XI at the age of just 18.
Over the course of his two years with BVB, he has made 90 first-team appearances, including 44 in 2021/22, during which he scored six goals and created 14 more.
Following the sacking of Rose, he took to Twitter to thank his former boss for everything he had done for him.

Previously, Bellingham had pledged his future to the club amid transfer speculation that has seen him linked with Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
“I will be here at Borussia Dortmund next season. I’m ready,” he told Ruhr Nachrichten. “The only future I’m thinking about is the next game with Dortmund.”
Does Rose’s sacking change Bellingham’s situation?
Now that Rose is gone, the likelihood is that Bellingham’s situation at Dortmund has actually become stronger.
Initial reports suggest that Edin Terzic is set to take over as head coach, having guided Dortmund to the DB Pokal last season during a six-month interim spell as manager.
During this spell, Terzic formed a strong bond with the squad. He was also an influential figure in Bellingham’s career. It was under Terzic that he scored his first Bundesliga goal, won his first major honour, and became a first-team regular.
If Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid were hoping that Rose’s departure from Dortmund might open up a door to Bellingham, it is likely to have the opposite effect, with the Englishman entrenched with the Bundesliga side for another year.
