The English forward will enter the final year of his contract next season, and he may be let go by the reigning English champions in the upcoming transfer window.

Sterling has often been seen as a second-choice attacking player for Manchester City this season, despite scoring 16 goals across all competitions in this campaign.

There is little indication over whether he will sign an extension to stay at the club for a longer period, inviting other clubs to consider a move for the player.

There will be plenty of interest from domestic clubs and those abroad in Sterling, but Arsenal may be the ones to make a move for him in the immediate future, seeing as manager Mikel Arteta previously worked with him.

Sterling joined Manchester City in the summer of 2015 from Liverpool and has scored 130 goals for the club in 337 appearances in that period.

Additionally, he has also won three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, four League Cups and played in one Champions League final in 2021.

In his time at City, he has also become a mainstay for England, making 74 appearances for the Three Lions and netting 19 goals in the process.

What is Raheem Sterling's transfer value?

According to various sources, £50 million would be enough to tempt Manchester City to consider selling Sterling to Arsenal, especially considering his form and contract situation.

FootballTransfers values Sterling at £75.7 million, taking into account his record and potential to improve in the future.
