Liverpool have announced that they have completed a club record transfer to sign Darwin Nunez from Benfica on a €100 million deal.

The Portuguese club have confirmed that the Reds will pay €75 million for the player up front, with another €25m to follow in easily attainable bonus payments.
It is hoped Nunez is a player who can elevate the club from being runners-up to Manchester City to potential Premier League champions.
