The Portugal international will almost certainly be making a Premier League transfer this summer - but only PSG stand in the way of that.

Already discussions are underway between Sporting and several clubs over a move. Offers have been made somewhere near €35 million but those clubs will remain anonymous for now.

Indeed, the Premier League is the most likely outcome but PSG are certainly interested and are actively in talks with the Portuguese giants.

Wolves have an interest, as do Newcastle and Everton - but it’s thought that a club playing European football is likelier. As reported in March, the Midlands side are in for Palhinha and it seems he is off to Fulham.

There are over 10 clubs in total keeping their eye on the 23-year-old midfielder. Manchester United are thought to be included as they have a great connection to the Primeira Liga.

Sporting will ask for €60m as per his release clause but, despite what has been reported elsewhere, bids near to €45m are likely to get accepted.

Nunes style of play

Neves will be able to slot in perfectly at Manchester City, particularly alongside Kalvin Phillips, who is set to join the club from Leeds. He is a No.8 and looks to carry the ball into the attacking third. He also has a keen eye for a pass.

The Brazil-born player is no stranger to getting stuck in either and is regarded as a competent tackler. At Man City, he will be joining the likes of Bernando Silva and Joao Cancelo as part of the Portugal contingent.

PSG may look to spoil the party though - with Luis Campos taking the hot-seat as their sporting director.
