Gabriel Jesus continues impressive pre-season with his FOURTH Arsenal goal
Gabriel Jesus has begun life as an Arsenal player in fantastic fashion, and his early form continued with the opening goal in the Gunners' 4-0 rout of Chelsea in the Florida Cup.
The Brazilian was accompanied by Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Albert Sambi Lokonga on the scoresheet as Mikel Arteta's side laid down a marker for the upcoming Premier League season.
Arsenal missed out on Champions League football in the dying embers of last season, dropping out of the top four in the final few weeks of the campaign after being leapfrogged by North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
However, like last summer they've delved into the transfer market and been rewarded with some stellar additions. Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have both arrived from Manchester City, while Fabio Vieira has joined following an impressive spell at Porto.
Matt Turner and Marquinhos have also signed for the club, but aren't expected to play key roles, while William Saliba has returned from his loan spell at Marsielle.
After four games of pre-season, it's clear that Jesus has settled in the best. The Brazil international scored a brace on his debut against Nurnberg before opening the scoring in a 2-0 win over Everton.
He failed to find the back of the net in a 3-1 victory against Orlando City, but produced one moment of magic where he turned the central defender on the edge of the penalty area before spinning, bursting past another, and firing a shot off from inside the box.
Goal vs Chelsea
Against Chelsea, however, normality was restored and Jesus scored yet again. After a mistake from Blues defender Trevoh Chalobah, Jesus was played in one-on-one against Edouard Mendy and he produced a delicate chip over the Senegal goalkeeper and open the scoring.

It was a finish that has rarely been produced by Arsenal strikers in recent years, and his pre-season form bodes well for the upcoming Premier League season, in which he's expected to help fire the Gunners back into the top four.
Eddie Nketiah, who has signed a new deal at the Emirates, scored in the one game Jesus didn't, against Orlando.
