Tielemans has had an impressive season with Leicester, and there’s a feeling he’d like European football, which isn’t possible at Leicester City this season.

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United have both shown interest in the player, but have pursued other targets before him.

Arsenal, in particular, have shown more concrete interest, and after signing others such as Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko, they may turn their attention to Tielemans.

What have Leicester said about Tielemans' future?

Leicester City, though, have said no offers have been made, according to chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha: "It's nothing. There haven't been any offers yet. There hasn't been anything concrete or a proposition yet."

Earlier in the window, it was reported that Tielemans liked the idea of moving to the Emirates Stadium to join Mikel Arteta’s side, and a transfer would cost around £30 million.

Arteta himself is reportedly an admirer of the player and his club have been waiting for the right moment to make a move, which may happen soon.

The Belgian has rejected any contract talks with the Foxes in the hope of getting his transfer this summer, but Arsenal, supposedly, can only buy once they’ve sold other players.

That has invited other suitors to possibly make a move, such as Manchester United, who are still looking to improve their midfield options.

The Red Devils have already secured the signing of Christian Eriksen, while they have been in talks with Barcelona over the future of Frenkie de Jong for over two months.

It doesn’t look like the transfer for De Jong will be completed anytime soon – at least before the start of the season – and that may force United to look at signing Tielemans.

Both clubs are keeping an eye on the situation, and while no concrete offers have been made, that may not be the case for long.
