Four players who could still leave Chelsea
Chelsea are expecting to have a busy end to the transfer window, with a few incomings and outgoings planned as they look to end on a positive note.
New owner Todd Boehly has been unafraid to splash the cash, and he also wants to make some money by trimming the squad in the final days of his first football transfer window.
Chelsea have already signed players like Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella, with Wesley Fofana set to join from Leicester City soon.
There are also a few departures planned, with the Blues working on deals with other clubs to let go of players either on a permanent basis or on a loan for the season.
Four departures possible before transfer deadline
The most high-profile departure is expected to be winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has struggled for game time under Thomas Tuchel since he took charge in January 2021.
Hudson-Odoi is set for a loan move to Bayer Leverkusen in Germany, having previously been linked to other Bundesliga clubs such as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund earlier in his career.
Another player that could leave the club soon is Ethan Ampadu, as he is on his way to Italy once again to complete another Serie A loan move.
This time, he’ll be signing for Spezia, with the 21-year-old having played at Venezia last year, as well as Sheffield United and RB Leipzig before that.

Other than that, Conor Gallagher’s Chelsea future is still up in the air, despite getting more chances in the first-team under Tuchel at the start of this season.
There have been links with a move to Everton as part of the deal that would see Anthony Gordon go the other way, while Crystal Palace are still interested in having him back at Selhurst Park.
Armando Broja is another youngster that could leave Chelsea on loan having spent time at Southampton last season in a temporary spell.
Chelsea reportedly want to extend his contract before sending him out on loan, and there could be lots of Premier League interest in him.
The Blues will be busy in the final days of the window and will want to strengthen in certain areas, while also giving a chance to their youngsters elsewhere in Europe.
