'They make strange decisions' - Aguero can't understand Raheem Sterling sale to Chelsea
Sergio Aguero has admitted that he 'can't understand' Manchester City's decision to sell Raheem Sterling to Chesea.
Sterling has made the switch to Stamford Bridge on a £50m deal, when his contract at City was set to expire in the summer of 2023.
City have made a number of squad amendments this summer, and as well as letting Sterling leave, Oleksandr Zinchenko has joined Arsenal for €30m, while Gabriel Jesus has also made the move to the Emirates.
With the arrivals of Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez and Kalvin Phillips, it represents a real squad refresh from Pep Guardiola, despite his side winning the Premier League title for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
And speaking on his Twitch channel, the Argentine forward said: "I don't understand the sale of Sterling, there are times they [City] make strange decisions."
Aguero doesn't rule out a return to football
Aguero left Manchester City in the summer of 2021 to move to Barcelona, but his career was cut short after a heart problem forced him into early retirement.
The 33-year-old didn't entirely rule out a return to the game, however, and has been captured training with Barcelona first-teamers at moments across this summer.
When asked about his career he said simply: "Maybe if the heart is doing well."
