Chelsea have spent more than any other club in the world this summer and they could continue splashing the cash heading into deadline day.

The Blues have already racked up a bill of more than £200 million after confirming the £70m signing of Wesley Fofana from Leicester.

Thomas Tuchel is desperate to sign a forward before the window closes as well as potentially a central midfielder, although the likelihood of both arriving is slim.

With a number of outgoings also on the cards, Chelsea are geared for a busy deadline day and could potentially further extend their ranking as the biggest spenders of the summer.

Who could arrive at Stamford Bridge on deadline day?

The most likely incoming for Chelsea so far is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as negotiations are still ongoing with Barcelona for the striker, with Marcos Alonso potentially being included as part of the transfer.

However, a deal could be complicated after Aubameyang suffered a broken jaw during an attack at his house which will leave him out of action for a few weeks.

Personal terms have also not been agreed yet but a loan move could be struck as the two clubs are still apart in their valuations.

A move for Rafael Leao is also being mooted after Chelsea were unsuccessful in an approach for Neymar but AC Milan are not believed to be willing sellers.

Chelsea have also had two bids rejected in recent weeks for Anthony Gordon and the Blues have informed Everton that they don't value him higher than £40m.

Gordon has scored in Everton's last two games, prompting Toffees' manager Frank Lampard to claim that the deadline to sell the winger had passed, making a deal unlikely.

Chelsea have been tracking Frenkie de Jong over the summer due to the midfielder being told he can leave Barcelona but the sticking point will be the Dutchman's wage issues with his current club.

Josko Gvardiol is another player who Chelsea are reportedly in advanced talks with in a deal that would see the defender join next summer from RB Leipzig for £77m.

Arsen Zakharyan was believed to be on his way to Stamford Bridge but despite the Dinamo Moscow midfielder having a £12.6m release clause, the sanctions on Russia mean that payment for the deal makes a move unlikely.
