Pulisic set to stay at Chelsea amid Man Utd links
Chelsea and USMNT forward Christian Pulisic has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, but he will reportedly not be leaving Stamford Bridge during this window.
Pulisic, 23, joined the Blues back in 2019, but has struggled for form and fitness over the past couple of seasons and, as a result, has failed to become a regular in Thomas Tuchel's starting XI.
The summer acquisition of Raheem Sterling signalled Chelsea's intent to upgrade in forward areas, and Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner were all linked with transfer away from the club.
However, only Werner has departed so far this summer, with the German returning to former club RB Leipzig, with Pulisic and Ziyech staying put so far.
The former Ajax man Ziyech had been linked with a move to Scudetto champions AC Milan, but that moves now looks off the table, with the Moroccan likely to remain at Chelsea unless a late bid comes in for him.
As for Pulisic, Man Utd are reportedly interested in signing him as an alternative to first-choice target Antony as a solution to their issue at right-wing.
This interest come following news that Chelsea may consider using the American in a swap-deal for Man Utd captain Harry Maguire, who has been linked with an exit from the club.
However, the rumours of the Englishman moving to Chelsea have now been put down, with the Blues still focused on signing Leicester City's Wesley Fofana in a deal that may break Maguire's own record for the most expensive defender in history.
Pulisic to stay at Chelsea
According to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg, Pulisic is now likely to stay at Chelsea this summer, despite links of a Stamford Bridge exit ahead of the World Cup.
There has reportedly been no offer from Man Utd, who are focused on signing Antony from Ajax, and there are no swap deals planned right now, meaning Pulisic looks set to stay at Chelsea.
