Real Madrid will consider selling Casemiro to Manchester United if they receive a bid in the region of €70-80 million, according to Relevo.

Man Utd have made the Brazilian their primary target at central midfield before the end of the transfer window.

Frenkie de Jong had initially been Man Utd’s favoured target in the centre of the park and the Red Devils had been in negotiations with Barcelona for several weeks.

However, the Dutchman has repeatedly rejected a move to Old Trafford and Man Utd appear to have finally given up on signing him.

United then turned to Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot as an alternative but after two weeks of negotiations this deal has also collapsed over the excessive salary and commission demands of the French player’s camp.

Thus, Man Utd have now made Casemiro their main target and, according to multiple sources, they are preparing a bid.

Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti considers Casemiro a key player, and the Brazilian played a crucial role in the club winning the Champions League last season.

But, with Casemiro turning 31 this season, Relevo reports that they would not be completely against selling him if a mammoth offer came in.

Relevo also reports that Man Utd would be prepared to pay around €80m so desperate they have become to sign a top central midfielder.

It remains to be seen if Casemiro would be interested given Man Utd’s problems on and off the pitch.

But the midfielder has won everything in the 10 years since joining from Sao Paulo. He has won three La Liga titles, five Champions Leagues and made over 300 appearances.
