Could Memphis Depay return to Man Utd?
Memphis Depay's agents have made contact with Manchester United over a possible return, according to reports.
The Dutch forward is not in Xavi's plans at Barcelona, paving the way for a return to Old Trafford, The Athletic reports.
Having already been down the pecking order, the signings of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha mean that he is now surplus to requirements at Camp Nou.
There has been interest from a number of clubs, including Juventus, but Manchester United could be the 28-year-old's next move.
Depay's return to Man Utd makes sense
The Red Devils let go of Memphis Depay in January 2017 after 18 unsuccessful months at the club.
He soon returned to form at Lyon, however, scoring five goals and assisting eight more in the second half of the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season.
And, in the following four campaigns, Depay registered 58 goals and 37 assists in 102 league starts, earning a move to Barcelona.
Depay’s season at Barcelona didn't go according to plan, with Ronald Koeman losing his job and then Aubameyang and Ferran Torres relegating him to the bench.
Yet, 12 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions is still a respectable tally from the Dutchman.

Depay's first stint at Manchester United was undoubtedly a struggle, but he’s developed greatly since, proving he can lead the line on his own if provided the right service.
He would also bring versatility to the forward line, as well as the ability to drop deep and link up with team-mates.
At €20 million, it could be a smart option to consider, especially when there aren’t many other viable options left for Ten Hag to explore.
And Barcelona are eager to sell, so it should be an easy deal to complete.
