‘Ten Hag NOT in danger of the sack’
FootballTransfers readers believe that Erik ten Hag is not in any imminent danger of being sacked, despite his disastrous start to his reign at Manchester United.
Ten Hag took over at Man Utd this summer, hoping to resurrect a sleeping giant that has not won the Premier League for nine years and are without a trophy of any form for five years.
However, he could not have begun life at Old Trafford any worse after losing the first two matches of the season.
United were first defeated 2-1 at home in their opening Premier League game of the campaign.
Then, on Saturday, the Red Devils were thrashed 4-0 away at Brentford in one of the most humiliating defeats in the club’s history.
This has already piled the pressure on Ten Hag, with fans already starting to question how long the former Ajax manager will last in his current job.
So, we asked our followers on Twitter, how long they thought Ten Hag would remain as Man Utd manager.

Only 13.2 per cent of followers believed that Ten Hag would be sacked by the end of this month. This was the least popular of the four options given.
Slightly more, at 18.2%, believed that Ten Hag would be axed some time in 2023.
The second most popular option saw 24.5% of followers vote that Ten Hag would be gone by Christmas.
But the majority of followers, 44%, believe that Ten Hag will last two or more years as Man Utd coach.
Therefore, the Dutchman’s terrible start at Old Trafford has not seen him lose faith just yet.
Indeed, if he can ride out the early storm and make it past Christmas at least, our followers believe he can go on to have a reasonably long reign at the club.
